Not usually a zombie fan, but this isn't really a "zombie movie" in the traditional sense. It's a fun time, with some good laughs even if the middle goes on a little too long. The technical prowess is excellent, too.
Fun!
It was a fun twist like the description said. Thought it was a zombie movie, but was pleasantly surprised. I even loved the credits showing how the first 30 minutes was done in one take.
I probably would've enjoyed it more if the description hadn't implied this was a zombie movie, not a movie about a zombie movie. As it was, the order of the movie was kinda weird, since the first half hour is not very good (on purpose) and nearly discouraged me from watching the rest because I figured it'd be more of the same. Last hour was better than the first 30 min I guess? You need horror to have a horror comedy, and the only comedy in the "horror" part is that it's kind of a trainwreck. There is no suspense, just a lot of weird and awkward moments that get explained later.
Brilliant!
