When Henry wakes up in a South African hospital, he’s expecting to have his appendix removed. But what he finds is the horrifying screams of other patients being ripped apart by angry 28 DAYS LATER-style zombies. As Henry struggles to escape– with his surgery still unfinished– he bands together with surviving doctors to get to safety and rescue others. But no matter the continent, zombies are zombies and brains, flesh, and blood are what they always desire. If Henry’s not careful, he’ll wind up with more than just his appendix out. pretty bog standard zombie film. Not deep enough or gory enough to rival the greats.
Sadly a let down. Although to be fair I only got 30mins in before I was too bored... perhaps the more patient will enjoy the ending?
pretty decent film, some genuine scary moments, and the character development is natural and not forced on the viewer. couple of bits were confusing, like the appendicectomy taking no longer than removing a splinter! 😁 and i hardly saw him get stitched up at all... also when boarding up the room, he says they have to last until sunrise, but says the chopper is coming at midnight...? overall not a bad movie though.

Definitely low budget. Borrows from other sources, ie. waking up in a hospital - The Walking Dead. Nothing to write home about but not offensive. An easy watch if you also want to scroll your phone at the same time
