Acting wasn't Hollywood grade (who cares) but, the action and intensity was incredible. If you like gore, typical tropey horror movie young adults and sniper wielding mad men with an affinity for suffering, this is for you.

Decent movie. It got to the point pretty quickly, and didn't try to be anything more than it was (person/people shooting at dumb adults in car). I'm fairly certain that being an Army brat doesn't give the skill set the Army brat had, but I guess it was either that or 'I was raised in a militia' trope. There are a few slow emotional parts, but you can take advantage of those to go to the restroom or feed the dog or whatever, you won't miss much. It's worth the watch.

Downrange starts off shambling down a dusty old highway, with dull acting and a less than inspiring pace. But halfway through this movie, things really picked up for me, and I was watching the tense thriller I was looking for. From wanting to bash my head against a car door like Todd to holding my breath with every shot, give this movie a try. It might surprise you.

Terrible. Seriously. Boring. Badly-acted.

That was WAY better than I had been anticipating. It started to lose its energy at some point which I was afraid of the plot going a slower direction, but then picked up out of nowhere and just kept ramping up from there which surprised the fuck out of me. If you come to a point you start to lose interest in the plot, STICK WITH IT. This is a hidden gem for sure.
